How long does a physiotherapy appointment take?
Typically between 30–40 minutes.
Can I claim back the cost of physiotherapy?
Yes. Most private health insurers cover Chartered Physiotherapy. Depending on your policy, you can claim up to €40 per session. Plus, physiotherapy is eligible for 20% tax relief.
Will I have exercises to do at home?

Yes – your treatment plan will include a tailored rehab programme to support your recovery between sessions. This programme will be delivered through the Physitrack app, giving you easy access to exercise videos, progress tracking, and reminders right on your phone.

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly. If you have a referral or scans, bring them along.
How do I book a session?

Booking a session is easy! Just click the Book Now button in the main menu, on any page, or in the footer of the website. If you prefer, you can also call us directly on 045 241259 -we’re happy to help you find a time that suits you.

What happens at the first appointment?
You’ll be assessed in full, including a history of your injury, movement tests, and a treatment plan. Arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first session.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing. Shorts for leg injuries, t-shirt or vest for upper body. Don’t worry , we have clinic attire if needed.
Will I feel sore after treatment?
Some mild tenderness is common, especially after manual therapy. Your physio will advise on what to expect.
What happens after my first session?
You’ll receive a recovery plan, which might include further treatment, home rehab, or short-term rest, all explained clearly by your physio.
