Breiffne’s Story

Breiffne has over 12 years of experience in Physiotherapy Private practice. A native of Kildare, Breiffne graduated from Trinity College Dublin with BSc. Honours in Physiotherapy, having previously graduated with BSc. Honours
in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Limerick.

Breiffne furthered his expertise with a certificate in Strength & Conditioning with the N.S.C.A and a diploma in Spinal Manual therapy with Manual concepts from Australia. Breiffne has extensive experience with sports teams, working with League of Ireland clubs such as St. Patricks Athletic F.C. Longford Town F.C. and currently oversees physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for Naas rugby club. He also developed considerable experience with youth sports which involved overseeing THE HIGH SCHOOL RUGBY PROGRAM and the Dublin District Schoolboys League.

Breiffne is a dedicated sportsman and has represented Ireland at u18, u19 and u21 level in RUGBY UNION, culminating in a Runners up medal at the 2004 u21 World Cup. He was also part of the Munster and Irish Academy, Senior Munster Squad UL Bohemians and Clontarf A.I.L. squad.

More recently, Breiffne has completed numerous international marathon and Ironman events culminating in qualification for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in South Africa in 2018. He continues this training today.

Breiffne’s education and personal experiences have given him a unique insight into the mindset of injury and often difficult pathway back to full recovery in all walks of life. Breiffne is passionate about helping people back to full health, from back pain and work-related injury to sports injuries and prevention.
